Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Waypoint Imports website and the services provided by Waypoint Imports. By using our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.

Specific shipments or services may also be subject to additional terms provided in a quotation, service agreement, carrier documentation, or other written communication.

02
OUR SERVICES

Import & Shipping Services

Waypoint Imports provides coordination and support for vehicle, vessel, cargo, and other import shipments to the Cayman Islands.

Depending on the service selected, this may include pickup coordination, freight booking, shipping arrangements, marine insurance coordination, duty verification, port handling, customs-related coordination, and final delivery support.

03
QUOTES & ESTIMATES

Pricing Information

Quotes and estimates are prepared using the information available at the time they are issued. Pricing may depend on shipment origin, destination, dimensions, weight, carrier availability, freight rates, duties, port charges, insurance, handling, and other shipment-specific requirements.

i

Results provided by an online calculator are estimates only and should not be treated as a final or guaranteed quotation.

A final price may change if shipment details are inaccurate, incomplete, or change after the initial estimate is provided.

04

Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information relating to their shipment.

  • Correct vehicle, vessel, or cargo details.
  • Accurate dimensions and shipment information.
  • Required ownership and purchase documentation.
  • Correct pickup and delivery information.
  • Requested customs or import documentation.
  • Prompt notification of any relevant changes.

Additional costs or delays caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or late information may be the responsibility of the customer.

05
DUTIES & THIRD-PARTY FEES

Additional Charges

Government duties, taxes, port charges, inspections, storage, carrier charges, customs-related fees, insurance premiums, and other third-party costs may apply to a shipment.

Third-party and government charges may be billed separately from Waypoint Imports' management or service fees.
06
PAYMENT TERMS

Payments & Outstanding Balances

Payment requirements, deposits, due dates, and accepted payment methods may be specified in the applicable quotation, invoice, or service agreement.

Where payment is required before a shipment can proceed, Waypoint Imports may delay booking, release, clearance, or delivery until the required payment has been received.

07
SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Transit & Delivery

Shipping schedules, transit times, arrival dates, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Carrier schedules, vessel availability, port operations, weather, customs procedures, inspections, and other third-party factors may affect estimated transit or delivery times.

08
INSURANCE

Shipment Protection

Marine or cargo insurance may be available or recommended depending on the shipment. Any insurance coverage is subject to the terms, exclusions, conditions, limits, and claims procedures of the applicable insurance provider.

Customers should review the applicable insurance terms carefully before shipment.

09
DELAYS

Events Outside Our Control

Delays may occur because of circumstances outside Waypoint Imports' reasonable control, including weather conditions, carrier schedule changes, port congestion, customs inspections, government actions, mechanical issues, labour disruptions, or other transportation-related events.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed when material shipment updates become available.

10
CANCELLATIONS

Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel a service, please contact Waypoint Imports as soon as possible.

Charges already incurred with carriers, transport providers, ports, insurers, or other third parties may remain payable even if the shipment or service is later cancelled.

Service Limitations

Waypoint Imports may coordinate services performed by independent carriers, ports, insurers, customs service providers, transportation companies, and other third parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability relating to third-party services may be subject to the terms and limitations imposed by the relevant third-party provider.
