Shipping packages to the Cayman Islands with Waypoint Imports? Before your shipment can be cleared through Customs, you need a valid Trader Identification Number (TIN) and must authorize Waypoint Imports as your customs agent in COLS.
Follow these simple steps to get started.
Step 1: Create Your COLS Account
Visit the Cayman Islands Customs Online System:
https://online.gov.ky/cols/faces/home
If you already have an account, log in.
If you’re new to COLS:
- Click Sign Up / Pre-Register.
- Create your account using an active email address.
- Verify your email.
- Complete the COLS registration form.
- Upload the required identification document.
- Submit your registration.
Once Customs approves your registration, you will receive your Trader Identification Number (TIN).
Step 2: Authorize Waypoint Imports
After your COLS registration is approved:
- Log in to COLS.
- Go to Declarations.
- Select Agent Authorization.
- Find Jordan O Seales T/A Waypoint Imports in the available agents list.
- Move Waypoint Imports to your Authorized Agents list.
- Click Submit.
You should receive confirmation that the authorization was successfully saved.
Step 3: Add Your TIN to Waypoint Imports
Once you have your TIN:
- Visit the Waypoint Imports Customer Portal:
https://portal.waypoint.ky/ - Log in to your account.
- Open Profile.
- Add your TIN.
- Save your profile.
Step 4: Create Your Shipment
Before your package arrives, create a shipment in your Waypoint Imports account.
Add your:
- Vendor
- Order number
- Package details
- Tracking number
- Other requested information
Creating your shipment in advance helps Waypoint Imports identify and process your package more efficiently.
